Family Vacation!

In June we went on a little family trip to Palm Springs. It was very exciting for a number of reasons. We had just returned from Idaho and had not seen daddy in a week and a half. It was so sweet to see Josiah greet his daddy after being away. And, I realized that this is our first trip that we've taken with just our little family. We're usually with extended family, or visiting family, which is great! But it was fun to be with just our family while daddy had time off.

The place we stayed at was great! The Palm Canyon Resort and Spa. I highly recommend it. Everyone there was friendly and our room was great! Here is Joshua having fun climbing into the cabinet beneath the tv.

Now for the best part of Palm Springs...the pool!!!

The place had a rock structure with a waterfall (as shown) on one side, with a hotub in the cave under the waterfall, and a water slide on the other side. Needless to say, Josiah could hardly be pulled away from this place!

Although he's posing here, he was pretty tuckered out from the sun and water everyday.

Joshua wasn't quite as happy about the water. It was pretty cool, but he got in for at least a little bit every day.
